If you are purchasing from local fabrication shops you may not be purchasing engineered mounts.

There are significant changes in the world of safety gear this year. OSHA now mandates that employers supply safety gear to their employees. Of even greater significance is the new ANSI Z359.1 standard relating to the strength of all carabiners and hooks. The new standard requires that these connectors be ten times stronger when side loaded than what was once acceptable. Site Pro 1 views this standard with great regard and has decided to only sell products that can not meet this new stringent standard.
